Elegance East grew out of entrepreneur Scott Ciener’s significant experiences in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Scott was captivated by the vibrant culture and kind people, and he became enamored by the vibrant world of traditional saris. These vibrant costumes, deeply ingrained in Bangladeshi culture, signify generations of craftsmanship and pride. His mission was clear: to share this beauty with the world while also helping to create a more sustainable future.
We take delight in repurposing used materials from South and Southeast Asia. What previously adorned beautiful folks at celebrations and milestones has found a new use. These textiles are meticulously crafted into high-quality home decor that flawlessly combines tradition with current sensibility.
